Latté Art Advanced Classes
SCAE will be hosting Latté Art Advanced classes at the Festival on Saturday 12th September 2015 from 14:00 - 17:00 on the Main Stage.
These classes will be given by the National Latté Art competitors. They are available to anyone who has barista experience and wishes to know the secrets of the National Latté Art competitors.

THE CITY IS BUZZING AS DUBLIN COFFEE & TEA FESTIVAL 2015 IS LAUNCHED
Back by popular demand after its inaugural outing last year, The Dublin Coffee & Tea Festival 2015 is set to be another big weekend on the social calendar for coffee and tea lovers nationwide. The Festival takes place this year once again in the RDS, Dublin (Industries Hall) from 11-13th September. (www.dublincoffeefestival.com)
Exceeding expectations, almost 6,000 visitors flocked to the inaugural Festival last year to taste what the coffee and tea industry in Ireland had to offer and asborb the laid back festival feel of it all…..
The Dublin Coffee & Tea Festival is a three- day extravaganza featuring; The Roasters Village hosting an array of coffee and tea micro roasters; The SCAE Brew School where visitors will be shown how to use different brewing methods; The National Home Barista Championships as well as The Food Village for Artisan food and beverage suppliers whose products compliments the coffee and tea drinking experience. New this year will be an exclusive coffee photographic exhibition from celebrated photographer Sean Hawkey in conjunction with event partners Fairtrade Ireland. Following on once again from the success last year will be a series of fringe events with all features open to commercial sponsorship opportunities.

The Festival has served as a fitting platform to promote the renowned World Barista Championship which is coming to Dublin in June 2016 for the first time. The Olympics of the barista world, the WBC will see baristas from countries all over the world compete for the coveted title and will feature as part of the World of Coffee, Dublin expo.
In keeping with the promotion of coffee exellence and the run-up to the WBC 2016, SCAE Ireland will run a number of its professional national competitions at the Festival 2015 allowing the public to view the very best in action over the 3 days. Competitions scheduled to take place so far include Irish Latte Art semi-finals and The Home Barista Competition.

"My name is Sean Hawkey and I'm a photographer and journalist. A quick look at my will give you a good idea of the social focus and international scope of my work. My work has been featured in the New York Times, BBC, The Guardian, The Independent, NPR, PBS, the Morning Star, The Lancet, Nature, Science Journal and many other publications. My images have been used by 200+ organisations including Fairtrade networks, ACT Alliance, WHO, UNFCCC. My photographs have been exhibited as joint and solo exhibitions in Mexico, Colombia, Ireland, France, Germany, Austria, UK and Spain.
Before freelance photography I worked in international aid, I taught architecture and I ran communications for global NGOs. I'm based in the UK and I'm available for commissions and assignments.
